CORPORATE MATCHING GIFTS
Corporate matching gifts are a type of philanthropy in which companies financially match donations that their employees make to non-profit organisations. When an employee makes a donation, they’ll request the matching gift from their employer, who then makes their own donation which can double or triple the value of your gift to GSIS. Please check with your employer’s Human Resources Department to confirm that your company matches gifts to independent schools and to obtain the relevant forms for your participation.

ANNUAL FUND
The Annual Fund gives our community the opportunity to support the school in a way that will have an immediate and beneficial impact. It was created to support the annual operating budget and offset expenses not covered by tuition. This revenue stream enables us to enhance educational provisions and positively impact special initiatives which wouldn’t be possible otherwise. Some examples include creating unique student learning programmes, classroom technology improvements, maintaining the upkeep of everyday wear and tear as well as upgrading both campus facilities – just to name a few.
PLEDGED DONATION
Whether coming from an individual or entity, we welcome pledged donations with a commitment to providing financial support over a period of time. Pledged donations allow us to plan and allocate resources effectively, ensuring the continuity and sustainability of our initiatives. Why should I give if I am already paying tuition?
All school fees are allocated to the operation of each campus and for the education of every student at GSIS. The income from tuition is spent on the school’s functional costs and we are fully committed to keeping our fees within an achievable and competitive range. Tuition fees support general school operations as well as basic costs associated with offering our core curriculum. We rely on donations for a wide range of specialist learning programmes designed to provide unique educational opportunities and continue to improve our facilities.
