Science World: Exploring Space to Benefit Mankind
PolyU will be organising a new initiative entitled “Science World: Exploring Space to Benefit Mankind” Education Programme in the 2021/22 school year to introduce space sciences and technologies to secondary students. The programme includes an online lecture series for students at all levels, and a science experiment competition open to students in Y10-Y12.
This programme is free of charge.

UK: THE MEDIC PORTAL
Get Into Medicine Seminars
The Medic Portal (TMP) is a comprehensive resource for aspiring medics, and those that advise them. TMP is founded by doctors and is officially partnered with the Royal Society and Medicine. As a market leader in preparing medical school applicants, TMP helps them to excel in key milestones like UCAT, BMAT and The Medical School Interview.
TMP will be running three free Get Into Medicine Seminars for students from Year 11 onwards. These webinars will focus on how to succeed in the medical school interview (updated for this year) alongside top tips from admissions tutors. Students will also get to hear from a top European Medical School, The University of Nicosia, on their unique programme.
The talks will be taking place on the following days online on Zoom:

Please note that this is an optional event, and students should think carefully about whether they wish to attend, ensuring that it will not negatively impact their performance in class the following day.
