At the German Swiss International School, we are immensely proud of our confident students in both the German International and English International streams. They are deeply articulate, creative, outward-looking young people with an impressively strong set of academic results. In both streams, we have a consistently high level of achievement with progression to top universities around the world. We value the diversity of our community and with over thirty countries being represented at our school, we embrace the myriad of perspectives this brings.

GSIS is a multi-language school operating two parallel streams and teaching two curriculums, from Kindergarten to Secondary School and prepares for the German International Abitur (GIA) and the International Baccalaureate (IB), following IGCSE examinations in Year 11. We approach learning and teaching in the spirit of the GIA and the IB, whilst appreciating that academic learning is important in both streams but not the only measure of success. We offer rigorous academic study alongside a commitment to pastoral care to prepare our students for the challenges and opportunities of the 21st Century with a realistic understanding of the world around them.

As Principal, I am committed to preserving the great strengths and traditions of the school while strengthening our position as a leader in education and innovation. GSIS holds a unique position in the international school landscape and I will ensure that our place as an ambitious, well-known and highly valued international school is secured.

I look forward to meeting you.
