Hong Kong has been the home for my family for the past 13 years during which I have worked in the banking industry, but I have also had a diverse career that has spanned China, Japan, Spain, France and the UK. A German born, but native Austrian, I was fortunate to have enjoyed education not only there, but also in the UK, France, and Spain. This has given me a unique insight into how education shapes us all and our identity.
I have a proven track record in active involvement into where my passions lie – as former President of the Oxford University European Affairs Society, as a member of the Finance and the Development Committees of the China Oxford Scholarship Fund (COSF), as Chairman of the Hong Kong Wine Society, as the Consul of the Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne Hong Kong and representative of my bank in the Austrian and German Chamber.
I joined the board in March 2017, served in different roles, including First Deputy Chairman. Since March 2019 Chairman of the Boards.
