Returning to his Alma Mater, Patrick Ganswindt shared with our GSD students his experiences of how to choose the right fit university and transition to life at university. After the talk, we had the opportunity to sit down with Patrick and discuss in depth how GSIS has helped him prepare for studying Chemistry in Germany.
In 2016, Patrick graduated with the Deutsche Internationale Abitur attaining the highest mark of 1. Recently he was awarded a scholarship by The Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes – German Academic Scholarship Foundation. This foundation supports "the university education of young people who, on account of their exceptional academic or artistic talents and their personalities, can be expected to make an outstanding contribution to society as a whole". Congratulations Patrick, we are proud of you!
Currently, our K12 students are preparing to sit their first DIAP exam on 1 February. We wish them all the best and hope that hearing from an alumnus who has gone through the same process and now thrives at university motivates and stimulates our graduates-to-be.
We cooperate, we share, we learn from each other – Patrick’s story and message wholly embodies the mission of GSIS, attesting to the works of a vibrant, creative and caring community.
