The "Antal Global Snapshot" of UK Recruiters Antal International, London, regularly reports on the hiring and firing intentions of more than 20,000 employers in 50 major countries on five continents. The last global survey was conducted in mid-2013 and the results confirm the need for young logistics professionals.

According to the "Antal Global Snapshot", 71 percent of German companies and an average of 41 percent of companies worldwide are looking for logistics specialists for the coming months. Companies are particularly looking for people who have the expertise, flexibility and the linguistic and intercultural ability to cope with the growing challenges of a global economy.

Read here how a dual training system can counteract such a shortage of skilled workers. In Hong Kong the Business College of the German Swiss International School, in cooperation with the German Industry and Commerce Ltd., offers two relevant courses, which are both theoretical and practical.
