GSIS Association Ltd

The GSIS Association Ltd is a Hong Kong company limited by guarantee. The GSIS Association Ltd is responsible for the operation of the German Swiss International School and employs the teachers and support staff, sets the curriculum and deals with academic and administrative matters. Subject to the approval of the Board, membership of the GSIS Association Ltd is open to all natural persons over the age of 21 who are not GSIS staff. The Board of the GSIS Association Ltd is elected by the members of the GSIS Association Ltd at the Annual General Meeting. The Board oversees the operation of the school on behalf of the members.

GSIS Foundation Ltd

The GSIS Foundation Ltd is a Hong Kong company limited by guarantee, which owns and manages the buildings of the German Swiss International School Peak campus.

The construction and development of the school premises have been funded by the GSIS Foundation Limited through issuing a series of debentures. A debenture must be purchased from the GSIS Foundation Ltd for each child who enters the school and the debenture remains in place until the time the child leaves the school. The owner of the debenture is a member of the GSIS Foundation Ltd and entitled to vote at the Annual General Meeting. The Board of the GSIS Foundation Ltd is elected by the members of the GSIS Foundation Ltd at the Annual General Meeting.
